The Hubby

What is it with husbands?  We have live in our house for 6 years.  When we bought it, the house wasn't quite finished.  Simple things like baseboards, pantry doors, and closet doors needed to be done. 


I tried not to nag or remind him every six months.  I complained to my girlfriends  all the freaking time a little.  Nothing could get that man off his rocker.


Then boom, eleven months ago he started improving our home.  I'm not sure why.  Could have been the do it herself books I was leaving around.  Could have been the realtor that visited.  Could have been the new power tools I begged asked his mom to get him for Christmas.


So anyway, today he decides we need to organize the kids' bedrooms.  We have spend hundreds, if not thousands, trying to find a solution that worked that he approved.  None of these methods have ever worked and the rooms kept getting messier and messier.


 I, personally, wanted to put shelves up high and switch out toys. "That will never work," he said. 


Sooo, imagine my surprise, when today he says, "Let's try shelves up high and switch out the toys."


We did and now the room is clean and organized.  Cleaner and more organized than it's ever been. 


Husbands.  Eventually they come around to our way of thinking with only a little push.
